Before even singing one note, Benjamin Presley, the grandson of Elvis, was awarded a 5 million dollar record contract.
Benjamin, who is Lisa Marie Presley’s second child, will turn 17 on October 21. Lisa Marie Presley was Elvis’ only child. Her mother is Priscilla Beaulieu Presley.
The deal with Universal Music requires that the teen makes 5 albums. However, the label realizes that those who are expecting him to revive his illustrious grandfather’s musical style will be disappointed. "The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all," said Universal.
