Emily Blunt is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to play in Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black.
Actor Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is also in talks to join the cast.
The film follows the adventure of Lemuel Gulliver (Black), a travelogue writer on a mission in the Bermuda Triangle, who gets shipwrecked on the island of Lilliput, inhabited by little people.
Blunt would play the Lilliput princess who becomes the object of Gulliver’s affection. Segel would play Horatio, Gulliver’s Lilliput friend who helps him escape.
Emily Blunt will star in the film Wild Target, which does not yet have a release date, and in The Young Victoria, by the Quebec filmmaker, Jean-Marc Vallée (C.R.A.Z.Y.), opening in the United Kingdom on March 6.
