The actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise, has enrolled at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, reports People.
Watson plans to study literature in the fall. As of last October, the British star had been considering several universities, including Yale, Cambridge, and Columbia in New York.
Despite her educational goals, the 19-year-old star has no plans to abandon her acting career. She is currently filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which will hit theatres in 2010.
