Singer Enrique Iglesias is an avid soccer fan. He is also in the middle of promoting his ninth studio album, Euphoria. It hits stores next week and Iglesias has been doing the media rounds giving interviews and making television appearances.
Iglesias loves his new album but hates the fact it was scheduled for release during the FIFA World Cup.
He commented: "It is the only thing I dislike about this album. It is taking away from the football. It’s not like I can record the games either. The World Cup is just the one event you have got to watch live."
The Spanish singer is obviously rooting for his national team. Spain beat out Portugal on Tuesday (June 29) thanks to a goal by David Villa. The team now moves on to a match against Paraguay on Saturday, July 3.
Enrique Iglesias made an interesting vow during an interview with the BBC. He told the radio host: "If Spain win, I’m going to get drunk and ski naked in Biscayne Bay. That is what we used to do when we were kids."
