According to UsMagazine, since July, the LAPD has had in their possession a video of Dane, his wife and former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche.
The video was sent anonymously with a message saying that the DVD contains footage of the celebrities taking part in criminal activity.
Investigators have not had time to determine whether there was indeed any illegal conduct, since the video had previously been found on the Internet.
Peniche claims that the video was stolen from her by singer Mindy McCready, who was her roommate when she was part of the reality show Celebrity Rehab.
