The 31 year-old actress fell and needed to be taken to hospital. The star’s spokesperson, Liza Anderson, explained, "Nothing is broken, but her ribs are very bruised." According to initial reports, Longoria’s injuries did not make her miss any work.
This is not the first time for the actress to be injured on the set of Desperate Housewives. Last year, Longoria was hit on the head.
Desperate Housewives is one of the most popular shows on TV, and earned a Golden Globe for Best Comedy for the past two years.
