According to the American magazine Us Weekly, Longoria has given Parker some of the responsibilities for their upcoming wedding. On November 29, the two stars announced that they will marry in the summer of 2007.
The couple have hired wedding planner Mindy Wess to help with preparations. Longoria, 31, is the star of television’s Desperate Housewives, while Parker is a professional basketball player. Both acting and sporting friends are expected to be invited to the ceremony.
Longoria explained of her plans, "We are building a house right now (in San Antonio), so we just can’t go over budget."
