The actress started a program in rehab a few weeks ago to beat a long-standing drug addiction. TMZ reported that the actress is receiving treatment at Cirque Lodge in Utah.
Mendes’ rep stated, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."
Mendes worked on many projects lately, one of which was the comedy drama, The Women. This movie is also starring Meg Ryan and Debra Messing and will be in theatres on October 10.
