US magazine reports singer Céline Dion built an enormous water park in the backyard of her $12.5 million US mansion in Jupiter Island, Florida.
Photos of the new private water park show a water slide, two Olympic-sized pools and a small river.
The French Canadian star and her husband can afford big ticket items like this. Her show, A New Day, played at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas between 2003 and 2007 and was enjoyed by nearly three million people. It also brought in at least $400 million.
The 42-year old singer will earn another sizeable sum when she starts a new show at Caesar’s Palace on March 15, 2011. She will perform 70 concerts a year for three years.
Dion and her husband, 68-year old René Angélil, bought this oceanfront mansion in Jupiter Island in 2005.
The couple have been married for 15 years. They have a 9-year old son, René-Charles, who will no doubt be spending a lot of time in his new water park.
