Ex plans book on Amy Winehouse

Blake Fielder-Civil is planning to write a book about late singer.

Former husband of Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder-Civil, is planning to write a book about the late singer, reports the Evening Standard.

Fielder-Civil will reveal the details of his tumultuous marriage to Amy Winehouse, who died suddenly last month at the age of 27. He also hopes to portray what she was like away from the music scene. The former video production assistant recorded many videos of the singer, and can replay them to help in the writing of the book.

"Blake’s been planning to write a tell-all on Amy since she became famous,” said a source. “When they were together he’d film her, but there are many hours and footage he hasn’t released.”

Winehouse married Fielder-Civil in Miami in May 2007. A drug addict, Fielder-Civil has been blamed for introducing Winehouse to heroin and crack cocaine. Their destructive relationship finally ended in 2009 when Fielder-Civil filed for divorce from Winehouse who was seeing other men while he was behind the bars.

A couple of months ago, Fielder-Civil became a first-time father to a son Jack, with new girlfriend Sarah Aspin. Some speculate that Winehouse had difficulty accepting that her ex had moved on.

Several tracks on the singer’s hit album Back to Black were inspired by her first break-up with Blake and the couple’s romance, including You Know I’m No Good and Back to Black.
