Feist reveals Metals’ tracks and tour dates

The anticipated fourth album will have 12 tracks, including Graveyard, Woe Be and Comfort Me.

Fans have had to wait four years for Feist’s forthcoming LP, and although little has been divulged about the mysterious new album – save for a series of curious video trailers dispersed sporadically via Twitter – the singer-songwriter has finally revealed the 12-song tracklist.

Metals, released on October 3, will contain:

  1. The Bad In Each Other
  2. Graveyard
  3. Caught A Long Wind
  4. How Come You Never Go There
  5. A Commotion
  6. Bittersweet Melodies
  7. Anti Pioneer
  8. Undiscovered First
  9. Cicadas And Gulls
  10. Woe Be
  11. Comfort Me
  12. Get It Wrong, Get It Right

The Juno award-winning star has also announced a series of tour dates in support of the album, to take place October through December of this year. Canadian cities on the list include Vancouver (November 18), Edmonton November 20), Calgary (November 21), Toronto (December 1), Montreal (December 3), Ottawa (December 5) and Quebec City (December 6).

A complete list of all dates, including stops in the U.S. and the U.K., can be found on the singer’s official website.

Canadian-born Feist – who moonlights as a member of the band Broken Social Scene – has kept characteristically busy during the long break since 2007’s The Reminder. She released a documentary in 2010 (Look What the Light Did Now) and collaborated with Brooklyn band Grizzly Bear on Service Bell for the AIDS charity Red Hot Organization.
