The 34-year-old singer, who has been married to actor Josh Duhamel since January 10, will try to conceive her first child after she completes her tour with the Black Eyed Peas in April, reports Music-News.
The star stated, "I want to finish this tour first before trying to start a family. We’re never going to be at this time of our lives again so we have to make the most of it."
The singer added that the past year has been a particularly great year with her new hubby. She said, "It’s been a lovely year, but I’m missing him now as I’m on tour with the Black Eyed Peas. It’s a month since we saw each other, but we talk every day."
Last month, a 34-year-old stripper, Nicole Forrester, claimed to have had a one-night fling with Fergie’s man. However, Duhamel categorically denied her claims. His representative clarified that it wasn’t the first or the last time that a stripper has come forth selling false stories for money, and that Forrester’s story is completely ridiculous.
The Black Eyed Peas are currently on their world tour titled The E.N.D., which will come to a close in Canada on April 11.
