Fifteen Female Singers Unite for Cancer Charity

Fifteen female stars have united to do a single for cancer.

According to Billboard, a song sung by fifteen female superstars will be released on September 2. 

The single Just Stand Up will be released on the radio, as well as on iTunes. 

The single will feature Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes, and Carrie Underwood.

All of the profits from this single will go to cancer research. 

The song was conceived by Antonio "L.A." Reid, who produced it with Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds.

The fifteen singers will share the stage to perform the song live on September 5 for the television special, Stand Up to Cancer.  It will be aired on ABC, NBC, and CBS.
