Carlos Saldanha is directing the film, which hopes to share the same box-office success as the first film in 2002. Denis Leary, John Leguizamo and Ray Romano return to provide the voices to Diego, Sid and Manny.
Of course, the dangerous Scrat also returns in this story.
The 20th Century Fox film is expected to be in theatres on March 31, 2006.
