First single from Jay-Z and Kanye West due January 11

American rappers to release first single from collaborative album tomorrow.

The first single from the much-anticipated Jay-Z and Kanye West collaboration album, Watch the Throne, is due to drop tomorrow (January 11), reports MTV.

The single, H.A.M., was announced through West’s Twitter account. He posted, "1.11.11." along with a picture of the single’s artwork. Accompanying the imagery of crowns and barking dogs, the artwork features the simple message: "Kanye. Jay-Z. Watch the Throne. Coming soon."

During a New Year’s Eve celebration in Las Vegas, West announced that the new album would hit shelves in one week –  although little marketing had been done for the big-name collaboration. Now the first week of January has passed without the album’s release.

According to sources close to the project, it appears that the album release is now tentatively scheduled for March, but no date has been confirmed. Originally planned as an EP, Watch the Throne has since developed into a full studio album.
