Forbidden Euphoria available tomorrow

Calvin Klein builds Euphoria fragrance collection.

American design house Calvin Klein is offering a new version of its popular Euphoria fragrance, supposedly aimed at younger women aged 17 to 20, it is “younger, sexier, and easier to wear” than the original, reports Basenotes.

The composition of the scent opens with the fruity aromas of iced raspberry, mandarin and subtle peach blossom, leading to a floral heart of tiger orchids, pink peony and jasmine flowers, while base notes trail sensual musk, cashmere wood and patchouli.

Packaged in the original Euphoria bottle shape, the transparent glass is an iridescent shade of dark purple blending into lighter shades towards the edges.

This fragrance collection began with the release of Euphoria in 2005, and has grown to include a number of successors including Blossom, Luminos Lustre, Crystalline, Crystal Edition, Eau de Toilette, Spring Temptation, and now Forbidden Euphoria.

Known for sexually suggestive advertising, the latest Calvin Klein ad campaign stars 18-year-old Hungarian model Barbara Palvin scantily clad and provocatively posed. Creative director Fabien Baron oversaw the campaign styled by Carlyne Cerf De Duzeele and photographed by Steven Meisel.

Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria will be available in stores tomorrow (September 1) in 30, 50 and 100 ml eau de parfum priced from $45 to $125. An accompanying body cream is $38, and a ‘rollerball’ version can be had for $19.50.
