Frankie Boyle causes outrage with royal jibes

Frankie Boyle has been slammed for joking he wished Britain’s Queen Elizabeth was dead during last night’s (06.03.13) charity concert ‘Give It Up for Comic Relief’.

Frankie Boyle has been slammed for joking he wished Britain’s Queen Elizabeth was dead.

The controversial comedian had his remarks axed from a broadcast of ‘Give It Up for Comic Relief’ – an evening of comedy and music held at London’s Wembley Arena last night (03.06.13) – and was booed by the audience over his tasteless gag.

Poking fun at the monarch’s recent stay in hospital due to gastroenteritis, he said: ”I wish the queen had died the night before the Royal Jubilee – I wish she’d just f***ing died.

”But they wouldn’t have been able to tell us that she’d died. They would have had to hollow out her body and get that guy who plays Gollum to wear it.”

He was also booed after he claimed to have fathered the Duchess of Cambridge’s baby, and criticized her ”s**t” breasts.

He said: ”I was amazed to hear Kate ever got pregnant in the first place. She told me she was on the f***ing pill.

”I don’t know what the fuss was about the pictures of Kate’s t*ts.

”Anyway, in my paper I have to flick past pictures of good t*ts to read about her s**t ones.”

The show was aired on BBC Three with an hour’s delay, meaning editors were able to cut Frankie’s entire five-minute set – which also included tasteless jokes about murder-charged Olympian Oscar Pistorius, the pope, and Jimmy Savile – from broadcast.
