Franz Ferdinand Makes Some Changes

The group Franz Ferdinand is making changes on their next album.

Ferdinand recently worked with Brian Higgins from Xenomania Records, who was known for his work with Girls Aloud. However, the group’s lead singer, Alex Kapranos, revealed that their recording sessions were not progressing smoothly, reports FemaleFirst.

Kapranos explained, "We spent a week or so with Brian and it was wonderfully stimulating. He’s a real maverick. It was inspiring but it didn’t work out completely in the end. I suppose what we discovered is that although we love playing pop melodies, we’re not a pop group."

The Scottish band is remaking their next album, which Kapranos promises will be nothing like their previous projects.
