Although the official launch isn’t until next Tuesday, December 14, fans can now go online and listen to all songs on the album Michael, the first posthumous album by the ‘King of Pop,’ Michael Jackson.
The album includes previously unreleased material as well as songs Jackson was working before his untimely death on June 25, 2009. Michael’s 10 songs are now streaming online at michaeljackson.com.
The release of this album has stirred up some controversy, as family and friends of the deceased claim that he is not singing on some of the songs. His brother Randy has been especially vocal, saying that he believes there are certain tracks on the album that Michael doesn’t sing.
Jackson’s website doesn’t offer specific recording information about every song but notes, “The much anticipated album…includes the songs he most recently created along with tracks that Michael had a desire to bring to fruition.”
