Nearly a week after the sudden death of the 36-year-old DJ, Richie and other friends and family members gathered yesterday (September 3) for his funeral, reports Starpulse.com.
Lindsay Lohan, along with Samantha Ronson, John Mayer and Robert Downey Jr. were also present to pay their last respects to DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein. The DJ’s girlfriend at the time of his death, Hayley Wood, was also at the service. Nearly 2000 people attended the ceremony.
DJ AM was found dead in his New York apartment last week. There has been no official statement made as to the cause of his death, but many believe that it was due to a drug overdose.
