Mexican actor Gael García Bernal, 32, and his partner, Argentinian actress Dolores Fonzi, announced the birth of their second child, daughter, Libertad, born April 7.
"We share with you that our daughter was born. Libertad, her name. Libertad!" Bernal posted on Twitter. "After the best week of my life — it just keeps getting better — I thank you infinitely for your congratulations.”
Bernal and Fonzi met on the set of the movie Vidas Primada in 2001. They are also parents to two-year-old Lazaro.
Gael García Bernal and Natalie Portman once dated. The Black Swan star is expecting her first child with French ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied this summer.
Currently, the Babel actor is awaiting the release date of his latest film, the romantic comedy A Little Bit of Heaven, co-starring Kate Hudson.
