Injuries continue to plague Canadiens players.
This time, it was Rafaël Harvey-Pinard who was injured and never returned to the game.
He seems to have injured his leg.

At the end of the first period, he gave heavily against the rail and struggled to get back to the bench. He eventually stayed in the game and by the start of the second period, he was at his post.

However, due to the contact in the video above, he left for good.

I don’t know how he managed to stay in the game after the first contact (he looked really bad), but he likely aggravated his injury.
Let’s hope it’s nothing serious and that his removal from the game is just precautionary. We can’t wait for Christian Dvorak’s return … He’s eligible to return to action on Saturday when the team travels to St. Louis. Will he be in the line-up?
In nine games this season (excluding tonight’s), RHP has collected four assists. In the Quebecer’s absence on the first line, Joel Armia had an audition.

Extension
Last off-season, Montreal hired new doctors to prevent numerous injuries. In the space of ten games, several key players went down: Mike Matheson (who didn’t miss a game), David Savard, Kaiden Guhle and Kirby Dach.
Let’s hope RHP emulates Matheson and not the other three…
