Momlogic reports that actor Gary Coleman, best known for his role in the series Diff’rent Strokes, was arrested at his home yesterday (January 24) and allegedly charged with domestic violence.
Now 41 years old, Coleman was arrested and jailed. He was waiting for his $1,725 bail to be paid so he could be released.
The arrest took place in Santaquin, Utah, after an anonymous source witnessed a violent scene and apparently contacted the police.
This is not the actor’s first run-in with the law. In 2009, his wife, Shannon Price, was arrested after a violent scuffle between the couple.
Coleman also appeared in court in 2008 after using his car to hit a fan who wanted an autograph.
Coleman’s agent refused to give any more details on this new arrest.
