The actress will star in the new version of Clash of the Titans with Sam Worthington, according to Empire magazine.
Arterton’s character, a goddess named Io, did not appear in the 1981 film, however, this time, Perseus (Worthington) will fall in love with the new character. The remake is more concentrated on Perseus and how he deals with being the son of Zeus. The film is expected to be released on March 26, 2010.
In the meantime, we can see Gemma Arterton in The Boat That Rocked on August 28, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on May 28, 2010.
