Geneviève Everell: “My life is on pause, but not my future”.

Geneviève Everell, founder of Miss Sushi à la maison, has seen it all over the past year. On the eve of her 38th birthday, the entrepreneur looks back on her most memorable moments.

“37 years… I’m going to remember you, 37! I’ll remember you, 2024! It all started in the summer of 2023 with a lot of entrepreneurial stress, stress that I’d call 76 out of 10, stress that makes you learn a lot, but eats you up inside. Then, at 37, you went on to a wonderful pregnancy with a wonderful baby due. At one point, at 37, we went to the South for a holiday before giving birth (I spent the week afraid of ZIKA), not knowing that I already had much worse inside me! – After Christmas, the year got off to a weird start with my diagnosis on January 13… Since then, my life has been on pause, but not my future. Since 2024, I’ve been going through things I wouldn’t wish on anyone. On the other hand, I can’t deny that, as of today, what I’ve experienced this year in terms of learning about myself, my Stéphanie Tremblay, my lover, my son, my family and my friends is priceless, and I’d go through it all again without hesitation (yes, I said that). I mean it, otherwise I’d never have realized how incredibly lucky I am to have such wonderful people around me. I also have to admit that my strength of character and my positivism are pretty incredible! Stress and illness are no fun, but they make you grow and achieve millions of things. Thank you, 37! Thank you for real, 37. Welcome 38, I’d take you gentler anyway hahaha”, wrote Geneviève with great wisdom, who seems at peace with the whole situation.

In fact, the photo carousel shows a whole host of memories of the ups and downs of her last year, and it’s easy to see the great strength and resilience that inhabit the fighter.
