George Harrison 1970 solo album being re-released

Former Beatle’s legendary solo album released in limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day.

In recent years, independent record stores have held Record Store Day to make consumers aware of the advantage of buying their albums in stores where people are passionate about music–unlike the superstores or online purchasing experience.

In order to draw people into their shops on this special day, retailers receive a valuable boost from artists who recognize the importance of their support and offer exclusive limited editions of albums and mini-albums.

Harrison’s critically-acclaimed album, All Things Must Pass, was re-mastered at Abbey Road Studios using the original analog master tapes, and reissued as a limited edition three-LP vinyl collection that will be released exclusively to stores participating in Record Store Day.

The release coincides with the 40th anniversary of the album’s debut, and will also be available for download from the George Harrison official website. In 2001, the singer died in Los Angeles, California, from cancer at the age of 58.
