George Michael pleads guilty

Michael pleads guilty to impaired driving charges.

Singer George Michael faces possible jail time after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his car, reports Thisislondon.co. uk.

The 47-year-old former pop star had been in an accident, and was in possession of cannabis for personal consumption.

Police found him slumped behind the wheel of his car in the morning of July 4th.

The engine was still running and the police suspected that Michael was under the influence of drugs since he appeared to be in a trancelike state, was sweating profusely and had dilated pupils.

Police then brought him in to the station, where they found cannabis on his person. A blood test was performed, revealing that Michael had traces of cannabis in his body.

The singer has been released on bail and was formally charged on August 12.

Michael pleaded guilty to the charges against him and will be sentenced at a later date.
