George Michael To Appear in Court

Singer George Michael will soon be in court to face charges.

The British star will be in court in June on charges of marijuana possession and driving under the influence of drugs.  The hearing is set for June 8 for the former Wham! singer, which is the day before Michael is set to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Michael, 43, was arrested last year and accused of driving while under the influence.  Yesterday, a judge ordered the singer to appear at the Brent Magistrates court house.

The following day, Michael will perform in front of 90,000 people at Wembley.
