Los Angeles police have opened an investigation on the star of the film 300 after he attacked a photographer who was attempting to take his picture.
The photographer filed a complaint against the 38-year-old actor, accusing him of smashing him in the face several times last Tuesday (October 7).
Butler contends that the photographer chased him by car after he left a Los Angeles nightclub.
Ana Aguirre, a spokesperson for the LAPD, confirmed that Butler will be questioned regarding the accusation. The star’s lawyer has not made any comments on the situation.
