The actor admits that he had problems with booze between the ages of 14 and 27, when all he wanted to do was party.
At 27, the star decided to stop drinking because he became a wild man when has was drunk. However, he admits that he was still filled with temptation, reports IMDb.com.
"When I stopped I would look at a beer and think how great it would be," revealed Butler.
Butler eventually beat his demons, and no longer struggles to stay sober. He added, "It’s been years now and it’s like it never happened. I can’t remember drinking."
