Gerard Butler’s Trial Postponed

The trial for Gerard Butler, who is accused of assault, has been postponed for one month.

The lawyer representing the Scottish actor in his assault case, involving a member of the paparazzi, has managed to convince a judge to postpone the trial until August.

On October 7, the star of the film 300 was involved in an altercation with a photographer during the premiere of the film RocknRolla in Los Angeles.

The photographer was allegedly hit in the face by Butler. However, the actor claims to have been pursued by the photographer. The actor’s agent, Alan Siegel, said that Butler’s driver even had to stop the car because the paparazzi ran a red light and nearly hit two pedestrians.

The trial will begin on August 18 in Los Angeles. If he is found guilty, Gerald Butler could be sentenced to six months in jail.
