Gillian Anderson Gets Married Secretly

The former X-Files star, exchanged vows with journalist and documentary director Julian Ozanne.

According to People magazine, the ceremony the ceremony was on the island of Lamu’s Shella on the coast of the Indian Ocean in Kenya, with some friends and family present.

Anderson played the role of Agent Scully in the science-fiction series X-Files.  She and Ozanne were married by a civil officer and blessed by a Kenyan priest.

A Kenyan choir performed songs in Swahili.  The flower girl was Anderson’s 10 year old daughter, Piper.

After the ceremony, the dinner included lobster, crab and other seafood.  Fireworks and fire dancers were among the guests.
