Ventimiglia appeared for the first time on the Gilmore Girls in the fall of 2001. He played the bad boy in the tranquil town who became Bledel’s character, Rory’s boyfriend. Ventimiglia began dating Bledel shortly after, and the two were a couple for three and a half years.
Of their first on-screen kiss, the actor told People magazine, "I was nervous. We did each angle a million times."
Although the couple kept their relationship low-profile, Ventimiglia did share with the magazine last September that they had talked of marriage. He said, "I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It’s a fun thing for us to talk about, but that’s it."
Milo Ventimiglia will be starring in the next Rocky film, playing Rocky Balboa Jr. He will also be starring in tghe television series Heroes, on NBC. Alexis Blendel, will return to her role as Rory in the Gilmore Girls this fall.
