Actress Gina Gershon and former American President, Bill Clinton, are both denying a story from Vanity Fair magazine, saying that the two had an affair.
The story was published by journalist Todd Purdum, who claims that he saw the politician and the actress together. Purdum is married to former Clinton Press Secretary, Dee Dee Myers.
A representative for Gershon stated, "Todd Purdum’s insinuation is a lie, and it is irresponsible journalism. We are demanding a retraction."
A representative from Vanity Fair replied, "Todd Purdum’s article does not indicate that former president Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon."
Clinton denied the story, saying that Purdum is "sleazy" and a "scumbag," and added that the journalist is a dishonest man and has nothing else to do.
