Glastonbury confirms full 2011 line-up

U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé set to perform at massive U.K. festival.

After months of rumor and speculation, U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival organizers have confirmed the full and official line-up for the music extravaganza taking place this June, reports Music News.

As had been previously rumored, U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé are three of the big names confirmed to take the stage this summer. U2 will headline the festival on Friday, June 24, with Coldplay and Beyoncé set for the following Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Some of the other acts taking the main Pyramid stage include Morrissey, Elbow, Wu Tang Clan, Two Door Cinema Club, Paolo Nutini, Tinie Tempah, and Plan B. The Other Stage, the show’s second largest venue, will host Primal Scream, Eels, Chemical Brothers, and Queens of the Stone Age, among others.

Cee Lo Green, Kool and The Gang, Chase and Status, and Jimmy Cliff are also confirmed to attend.

Fleet Foxes, Bright Eyes, TV on the Radio, Flogging Molly, Barenaked Ladies… the list goes on. For the full line-up, see the official Glastonbury Festival website.

The three-day festival, which opens on June 24, takes place at Worthy Farm in Southwest England, near the village of Pilton in Somerset. About 200,000 people are expected to attend.
