Glee to cover Justin Bieber songs
Popular musical television series Glee will feature two Justin Bieber songs in an upcoming episode, including his hit single Baby, reports MTV.
It was previously reported that a Bieber hit would be included in the season’s thirteenth episode.
"Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn’s (Dianna Aragon) approval," show creator Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly.
During a red carpet interview at the Golden Globes this Sunday (January 16), Amber Riley, who portrays Mercedes on the show, told MTV News: "There’s gonna be two Bieber songs, and I think Baby is one. I think that’s correct." Riley also speculated that Somebody to Love would be the second song to make the cut.
The musical comedy-drama Glee is currently in its second season, airing on Global TV in Canada. As well as being a hit on television, songs from the show have been digitally downloaded over 13 million times, and over 5 million albums have been sold internationally.
