GM Confirms Sale of Saab
Saab will be sold to the small Swedish automaker this month, according to an official statement made by America’s GM auto company.
However, there are still loose ends that need to be tied concerning details of the sale. Some sources have contradicted the recent news regarding the percentage of shares to be sold, with reports that General Motors may end up remaining a minor share holder, keeping about 10%.
In addition, Koenigsegg has not yet received confirmation regarding the Swedish government backing a loan from the European Investment Bank. The company intends to borrow a whopping 4.3 billion Swedish kronor, which equates to approximately 650 million Canadian dollars.
Final details are expected to be disclosed within one month.
