Last season American Idol alum Adam Lambert paid a visit to the show last week. It was his first visit back since winning second place last year. He stopped by to mentor the top nine contestants and perform the single Whataya Want From Me. He also took the opportunity to try out a laser show that he wants to take on the road.
He sang his hit song as laser beams swirled around. He wants to use these special effects on his upcoming tour.
The Glam Nation Tour is currently on a one-month hiatus after a performance in Los Angeles last Saturday (April 17). It kicks off again in LA on May 15. New concerts were announced on the singer’s website, all American dates.
Adam Lambert spoke to MTV News on the red carpet at the GLAAD Media Awards. He talked about his plans for the next leg of his tour. He said, "I hope to use some special-effects lighting like that, sure. The Glam Nation Tour is going to be very theatrical. People won’t be let down in the glam department; it’ll definitely be something to look at as well as listen to."
