The Goo Goo Dolls’ next album, which singer John Rzeznik hopes to launch towards the end of the year, will be more refined, reported Billboard.com.
Rzeznik explained, "We’re really more of a rock band, which is kind of the approach that we’re taking with the new album."
For the album’s recording, all the band members will be in the studio at the same time, and will play exactly as if they were in concert.
While the Goo Goo Dolls take on the new project, fans can get their hands on the new Greatest Hits Volume Two album. This CD/DVD set will be released on June 17 by Warner Bros.
