Google gets into fashion
Google decided to get into fashion by creating accessories inspired by its trademark colours. The collection has been offered online at googlestore.com since February 5.
The search engine offers pendants, knit scarves and casual t-shirts with the Google bull’s-eye.
Google asked designers to create one-of-a-kind items inspired by the search engine. The results, created for an annual fundraising show by Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America, are now available at the Google online store.
The collection is on sale for a limited time only and proceeds will go to a Vogue/CFDA fund for new designers.
