Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett of the Gorillaz announced that a recording session for their third album is planned for March, reports NME.com.
The musicians confirmed that work on the new album, following 2005’s Demon Days, would begin with a collaboration in Syria.
During a radio interview, Albarn said, "I’m going to Syria because I’ve got a real fascination with Arabic orchestral music. We’re going at the end of March for Gorillaz."
