Graco high chair recall

The Graco company recalls one high chair that could cause injuries.

The Graco Children Products company just announced a voluntary recall of more than a million high chairs around the world.

The Atlanta-based company sold 1.2 million of these high chairs worldwide, including 35,000 in Canada.

Sold under the Harmony label, products affected were made between 2003 and 2009; their model number started with A, B, C or D.

The problem with these chairs is that the screws that support the front legs tend to loosen and fall. A piece of plastic near the back legs can also break and risk tipping the chair.

24 injuries have been reported so far and attributed to this defect.

People who own this high chair are asked to stop using it and should contact the company at  www.gracobaby.com. It is possible to obtain a free repair kit containing all the instructions you need to repair the defect.
