Grammy Time Once Again

All the biggest names of 2009 will be clearing their throats for Grammy night.

The first list of artists chosen to perform on Grammy night were released yesterday (December 22). The much-anticipated award show will take place January 31, 2010 at Los Angeles’ Staples Centre.  Those chosen by the show’s organizers were quick to accept the honour.

At the top of the list with an astounding 10 nominations is Beyoncé, who has already confirmed her attendance on stage. In second place, with eight nominations, is Taylor Swift, who probably won’t be performing any songs with Kanye West.

Another group who has confirmed their presence are the Black Eyed Peas, with six nominations this year. The band has already been awarded three Grammys in the past. Maxwell will be there, in line with six nominations, and so will Lady Antebellum, with two nominations.

Show organizers for the 52nd annual Grammy event anticipate that other celebrity artists will soon be confirming their attendance.  With an impressive list of performers already, the list is sure to keep growing.
