Green Day has announced that they will be giving a free concert to 300 of their fans in New York, a few days after the release of their new album, 21st Century Breakdown.
The group will perform at Webster Hall on May 19 and their new album will be available on May 15.
A portion of the tickets will be sold to the public beginning May 9, while others will be given to Green Day fans that answer a series of blogs on MySpace.com/the list.
Fans not able to attend the Californian group’s concert can watch the performance when it is rebroadcast on Myspace Music shortly after the concert.
