American clothing label Guess has unveiled its GUESS by Marciano Holiday 2011 Lookbook to promote the brand’s upcoming holiday styles, reports Coco Perez.
New looks in classic holiday colors like red, grey, black, and white – along with requisite dressy sparkles and lace – include both formal and casual wear.
A form-fitting knee-length red dress is paired with a black boyfriend jacket, a simple strapless LBD is a classic, and it looks like palazzo pants have made a comeback.
A more casual look includes the standard tight, torn Guess jeans with a white blouse and black cropped sweater.
Partygoers looking to make a splash can don a tight blue knee-length dress, styled with black piping and paired with nude pumps, or a tight black sparkly dress with black hose and heels, while a pair of wide-legged jeans and billowy patterned peasant top are ideal for relaxing at home.
The label recently signed American actress Amber Heard (Zombieland, The Stepfather, Drive Angry 3D) to be the face of the brand: "I’ve been a huge fan of Guess for a long time and to be the new face of the Fall 2011 campaign is very exciting," Heard said in a statement.
"It was such an amazing experience to have been able to work with some of the most creative talents in the industry, such as Paul Marciano and Ellen Von Unwerth, who have collaborated on some of the most iconic campaigns in Guess history."
