Guns N’ Roses cover two AC/CD songs on tour

Axl Rose sings Riff Raff and Whole Lotta Rosie.

You might’ve thought that after 25 years, and on the verge of joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Guns N’ Roses would have ample material to fill a 3 hour show.

The band, led by Axl Rose, the only original member of the band, decided to make room for two songs by Australian metal band AC/DC.

Currently on tour, the band covers two classic AC/DC tracks, Riff Raff and Whole Lotta RosieRiff Raff is a newer addition to the Guns N’ Roses setlist, however the 1977 classic Whole Lotta Rosie has been part of the band’s repertoire as far back as the 1980s.

A live version was recorded in 1987 from a performance at London’s Marquee Club for the Live from the Jungle EP.

The band is currently touring North America, with upcoming concerts on November 25 in Worcester, Massachusetts, November 28 in Hamilton, Ontario, and December 4 in Nashville, Tennessee.
