Singer Axl Rose and his new Guns N’ Roses bandmates started a South American tour on Sunday (March 7). Their first stop was Brasilia, Brazil.
Organizer Jamison Ernest says that there will also be three private shows in Brazil and Argentina. According to Billboard, one is planned for Sao Paulo on March 11, another in Buenos Aires on March 20 and a third in Rio De Janeiro, date to be confirmed.
Ernest says each concert venue will hold about 150 people. He did not want to reveal too much information on the secret shows. He worries about riots by uninvited guests.
Ernest will co-host the Sao Paulo show with Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros.
The last time Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses were in Brazil was during the Rock in Rio Festival in 2001.
The 11-date tour is also heading to Quito, Ecuador on April 1. The group has shows planned in Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia.
