In an interview with In Touch Weekly magazine, John Ritchie admitted that he was happy to learn that his son was ending his 8-year marriage to Madonna.
He added that if the 50-year-old singer is busy with other conquests, she’ll be less likely to try and get back with Guy.
"The worst thing would be if they reconciled," said John Ritchie, who doesn’t seem to be fond of his former American daughter-in-law.
As for rumours of a reconciliation coming from Guy and Madonna’s recent meetings, John said, "There are no big arguments between them. All they discuss is the children."
