Gwen Stefani Teams Up with No Doubt

Gwen Stefani and the group No Doubt are finally united.

According to FemaleFirst, the singer will be in the studio with her former group to prepare a  new album.  Their last album was Rock Steady in 2001.

Stefani left the group to pursue a solo career, but felt some tension when the group started doing new work together.

Stefani revealed, "It would be ridiculous to say there was no tension, because my solo career has been going on and on. It was never supposed to be this long".

The singer’s solo career soared when she started in 2004.  Her two albums, Love. Angel. Music. Baby and The Sweet Escape were successful around the world.

Despite this popularity when singing alone, Stefani really wanted to record another album with No Doubt.

She stated, "I don’t think I will make another solo album. I can’t predict anything, but I don’t plan on making one of these solo dance project records, I definitely feel myself going back to No Doubt to do a new album. I’ve got the idea in my head and that’s all I can think about."
