Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, 38, is set to appear in Fox’s Glee, as a substitute teacher who fills in for Matthew Morrison’s character Will when he falls ill. She will be singing Cee Lo Green’s Forget You, plus a mash-up of Singin’ in the Rain and Rihanna’s Umbrella with Morrison, Mark Salling and Chris Colfer in the episode which airs tomorrow night (November 16).

During this number, Paltrow will share the stage with Morrison in a nod to another famous number by Gene Kelly from the musical Singin’ in the Rain, a refrain that is integrated into one of Rihanna’s most popular songs from her 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad.

The Oscar-winning actress and wife of Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, showcased her singing abilities alongside Huey Lewis in the 2000 movie Duet directed by her father.

Playing the lead role of a country singer named Kelly Canter, Paltrow will soon be singing in theatres across the country in Country Strong, set for nationwide release on January 7, 2011.
